Sheraton Louisville Riverside Hotel

Beautiful location overlooking the Ohio River. We were on the 7th floor and had a partial view of the river but was still exhilarating to watch the river, air traffic, and local bridge traffic. Room we think was an ADA room so very spacious, clean, linens and towels very comfortable. The Sheraton fitness center was impressive with a recumbent bike that I used and was in a two room spacious center …..well thought out adjacent to the indoor pool. Gym towels, wipe off cleansing sheets, cold water, mats, weights made it complete.

Loved the 12pm checkout time, I hate rushing to leave a hotel in the mornings so this was a big bonus to me!! The bed and pillows are so comfortable I didn't want to get up!!! There's a thermostat on the wall to control temperature which was really, really nice to have instead of the window type air units, the room was very comfortable temperature and humidity wise. We had a nice view of the river looking towards the West. Elevators are fast and there's a few of them available, we were on the 8th floor and never had any issues waiting for the elevator. The location was so convenient, right next to the interstate but far enough where you don't hear it and walking distance down to the river along with a few really nice restaurants. About a 2-3 minute drive down the street is Historic Jeffersonville with adorable historic homes, coffee shops and very nice restaurants. As well as the Big Four walking Bridge. Scooter rentals are everywhere and the area is very clean and comfortable with lots of friendly people. Personally I was very excited about having the hot tub and pool area all to ourselves. We never seen anyone in either of them but we sure used the hot tub which was very relaxing! The pool was a little cool definitely not heated but we didn't get in the pool anyways so no bother to us.

We really like everything about the property! It was clean and comfortable! The pool was awesome and the hot tub even better! We ate at el nopal and hooters both were yummy! The vibe is so peaceful all around the hotel! I highly recommend!!

Convenience to venues we were attending and reasonable prices.

Location, close to the action but still secluded. We could view the skyline of Louisville and the Ohio River and river traffic. Close to small but well appointed eatery/breweries. Excellent staff.
